Got Questions?
We've Got Answers.
We know starting (or restarting) a fitness journey comes with questions. Here's what people ask most about Danny Gustin Fitness – and how we help.

Getting Started
Q: Do I need to be in shape before I start training with you?
A: Not at all. Many clients begin with little to no recent fitness experience, or after years away from the gym. Our programs adapt to your current level so you can build strength and confidence safely---no matter where you're starting.
Q: Do you offer a free consultation?
A: Yes! The first step is a 30-minute intro call, where we will learn about your story, your vision for your health and fitness, and establish how our program fits into that picture. Together, we’ll determine if our approach is a good fit for you and your goals. If it is, you’ll be set up for your complimentary in-person Discovery Session, where our team evaluates your fitness level, movement patterns, and opportunities for a customized program. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of our program and whether it feels right for you.
Q: What's included in the Discovery Session?
A: Your Discovery Session is a no-pressure first step. We'll talk through your fitness journey, goals, do a movement assessment, and set the foundations to map out a personalized plan that fits your body, lifestyle, and season of life.
Q: Can I try a session first?
A: Yes! Many clients like to experience a session firsthand so they can see how our program works and how it fits into their goals. During your complimentary session, our team will guide you through movements and exercises tailored to your current abilities and vision. This gives you a clear sense of what working with us is like while helping you feel confident and supported from day one.
Q: How much does personal training cost?
A: Pricing depends on the program and level of support. Every option includes personalized training, corrective movement, and habit-based nutrition strategies. We'll walk through all options during your Discovery Session so you can choose what works best for your goals and budget.
Q: Do you have reviews or testimonials?
A: Yes. Our team has received positive feedback from clients throughout Naperville and the surrounding suburbs. We have over 100 five-star reviews on Google, and our programs have been recognized with awards for quality and effectiveness. Many clients train with us long-term, which reflects the supportive environment and results-focused approach we provide. You can read client stories and testimonials to see their experiences firsthand.
Q: How do I schedule a session?
A: Established clients can book an appointment directly online or contact us to find a time that works. To schedule your free Discovery Session – fill out our form, and we'll reach out to get you set up!
Training & Coaching
Q: What kind of training do you offer?
A: Our flagship service is one-on-one personal training, with optional hybrid and online coaching for busy seasons or added accountability. Every program blends strength training, functional movement, and nutrition support.
Q: What certifications do you have?
A: Our team consists of nationally certified personal trainers with accredited credentials. We prioritize ongoing continuing education to ensure our coaching stays current, safe, effective, and supports our core philosophy.
You can view each coach’s specific certifications and background on the Our Story page.
Q: What is your fitness philosophy?
A: Fitness should adapt to you. Your plan should fit your life as it is now, evolve as your season changes, and support every dimension of your health: strength, movement, nutrition, and mindset.
We focus on sustainable progress, not extremes. Every client is coached with care, clarity, and purpose so that the confidence built in the gym carries into everyday life.
Q: Do you offer group training or classes?
A: Right now, our focus is on one-on-one coaching so we can tailor every program to the individual.
Q: Do you offer online or virtual personal training?
A: Yes. We offer hybrid and online coaching so you can keep progressing whether you're traveling, working from home, or outside Naperville.
Q: What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
A: Yes! We specialize in corrective exercise and often work with clients transitioning from physical therapy or managing muscular imbalances, such as muscles that are too tight, too weak, or not interacting properly. Programs are customized to your needs, and we modify exercises to respect limitations while still building strength, stability, and function. For complex cases, we collaborate with local specialists to ensure your long-term health and safety.
Q: Can you help me after physical therapy?
A: Yes. Many clients transition to our team after completing physical therapy. We help maintain progress, reduce the risk of setbacks, and build strength, confidence, and long-term movement quality. Local PTs and chiropractors have shared positive feedback about our programs, trusting our team to support their clients safely after therapy.
Q: What do sessions look like?
A: Every session is designed around you, your goals, and your current abilities. We blend strength, functional movement, and mobility work to create a program that challenges you while keeping safety and proper technique front and center. Sessions are interactive and personalized, as we monitor your progress, adjust exercises as needed, and focus on building sustainable results over time. No two clients’ sessions are exactly the same, because your program is as unique as your story.
Q: Do you provide nutrition plans or dietary guidance?
A: Of course! For many clients, nutrition plays a key role in supporting results both in and outside our sessions. We don’t have to change everything at once. For those who are ready and want to focus on it, we design plans that provide structure and guidance while emphasizing practical, habit-based changes for long-term, sustainable results.
Results & Goals
Q: How soon will I see results?
A: Every client’s journey is unique. Many notice increased energy, strength, and performance within the first several sessions. More visible changes in body composition often appear over 2–3 months with consistent effort. Our focus is on building sustainable results that last, rather than quick fixes, so you’re set up for long-term success.
Q: Do you help with weight loss?
A: Yes. Many clients come to us with weight loss goals. Our approach combines strength training, sustainable nutrition, and accountability so you can lose weight in a healthy, realistic, and lasting way.
Q: Can you help me train for a specific event?
A: Many clients discover that training for a personal milestone or specific event can become an energizing part of their journey with us. One of the biggest reasons clients choose our team is our ability to create fully customized programs tailored to your goals, abilities, and schedule. The more we can personalize your training, the better the results. We focus on building strength, endurance, confidence, and injury resilience so you can reach your event goals safely and successfully.
Q: Can you help me fix my posture / mobility / flexibility?
A: Of course! Clients often notice improvements in posture, mobility, and flexibility as part of their personalized training programs. We use our corrective exercise expertise to spot muscular imbalances and create exercises that restore proper movement. We take your daily habits into account to ensure your program works beyond our sessions. For example, if your job requires a lot of sitting, we build strategies that support you throughout the week, not just during training. For clients with complex challenges, we adapt exercises to respect limitations while building strength and function, and work with local specialists when needed to support long-term health.
Q: What kinds of goals do you help with?
A: Clients work with us to:
> Build strength and confidence
> Lose weight sustainable
> Rebuild after injury or time off
> Improve energy and reduce pain
> Make fitness part of everyday life
Q: How do you track progress?
A: We track progress in ways that match your goals, abilities, and lifestyle. This can include strength improvements, mobility and posture assessments, body composition, or other performance markers depending on what matters most to you. One of the cornerstones of our program is building in opportunities to assess your progress and make the right changes at the right time. This ensures your program evolves with you, supports sustainable results, and keeps you motivated and confident throughout your journey.
Q: Do your programs work for people over 40 or 50?
A: Of course! Many of our clients are in their 40s, 50s, and beyond. We design programs that focus on strength, mobility, and overall function, helping clients maintain independence, improve energy, and feel confident in daily life. One of our key priorities is supporting long-term health and longevity, so every program is tailored to individual abilities and goals. Clients can progress safely and sustainably while enjoying the benefits of personalized coaching at any stage of life.
Q: Can this work if I'm a busy parents or professional?
A: Yes. Many of our clients are balancing careers, parenting, or both. Our programs are designed to fit real life, with flexible coaching options so you can stay consistent when life gets hectic.
